To solve the problem that a book reading stand with a system to press a book through the use of binders which are opened to the right and left of a placement table, is inconvenient since a page has to be turned over by drawing the binders outward when the page is turned.

A small auxiliary binder 8 is turnably attached to the upper part of a main binder 3 so as to obtain a double type binder. When the binder is superimposed in two stages, the lower main binders presses the facing pages and the plurality of pages to be subsequently read are placed on the main binder and held between the auxiliary binders. When the read page is turned over, the most upper page is pulled out from the auxiliary binder and inserted to the other auxiliary binder. Thus, a user rapidly turns over the pages.
