Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a double vane pump preventing the generation of cavitation in a common passage so as to enable the high-speed rotation of the pump and also preventing the lowering of pump durability at the time of increasing the rotation.
CONSTITUTION: A front pump P1 and a rear pump P2 are provided on both sides of a center plate 4 provided in a body 1. Branch passages 15, 16 are formed on both sides of the center plate 4. The branch part of the branch passages 15, 16 is formed into a common passage 17, and the common passage 17, the branch passages 15, 16 and the suction passages of both pumps are communicated with one another. The discharge ports 27, 29 of both pumps are further communicated with the common passage 17, and a protruding piece 31 is formed at the center plate 4 positioned on the common passage 17 side.
