To improve the dimensional accuracy of the mounting points on a body of an upper arm and shock absorber in a suspension, and improve the rigidity of the body-side mounting points of the upper arm.

A practically U-shaped absorber bracket 23 is fixed to a chassis frame 22A in an orientation where its sidewalls 24 face in longitudinal vehicle axis directions, and arm holding brackets 26 are disposed outside both sidewalls 24. One side of an upper arm 27 is fixed on the arm holding brackets 26. A shock absorber 33 is pivotally mounted at its lower end to an extension bracket 32 extending down from the upper arm 27, and is fixed at its upper end on a vertical wall 35 ranging from a ceiling plate 25 as a part of the absorber bracket 23. The other side of the upper arm 27 is pivotally mounted on a knuckle arm 5. The body side of the upper arm 27 and the upper end of the shock absorber 33 are fixed on the same bracket 23 where the mounting points maintain improved dimensional accuracy.
