Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warp-weft double woven denim which has an excellent heat-insulating property and has a lining having characteristics different from those of the face side denim.
SOLUTION: This double woven denim is a warp-weft double woven fabric which is made by intermittently binding a face side denim 20 to a lining 30 with warps 21, 31 and/or wefts 22, 32 and has portions where the face side denim is separated from the lining, and bound portions Δ where the face side denim is bound to the lining is characterized in that the face side denim and the lining comprise different fibers, respectively, and the face side denim comprises spun cotton yarns and is dyed with indigo.
