Abstract:
To reduce a rise in power load by reducing the resistance on the side of a running surface in running a woven fabric for papermaking.
This double woven fabric for papermaking is obtained by integrating each single woven fabric in which the side of a papermaking surface is a plain weave and the side of a running surface is a five-sheeted twill weave with connecting yarns Bi and the five sheeted twill weave on the side of the running surface is 3/2. In the double woven fabric, the number of the warp yarns Wa based on unit width is the same as that on the side of the papermaking surface and the ratio of the numbers of the weft yarns Wf on the side of the papermaking surface to the side of the running surface is either one of 1:1 and 2:1.
