Title:
DOUBLE-WOVEN OBI
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1112836
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent colored patterning yarns from causing pattern deviation and elongation at the knots while retaining the continuity of the pattern in a double-woven obi (Japanese style belt or sash) on which a continuous pattern is drawn by roughly tacking the colored patterning yarns from the top tab to the belly patterning part.

In the knotting part 3 of a double-woven obi between the taiko part (coming to the back side) (a) and the fukumon part (coming to the belly side) (b), colored patterning weft yarns are finely tacked or fastened with warp yarns.
