Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make integrated values of counter boards of both operating and standby systems accord with each other at all times by a method wherein the integrated value of the counter board of the operating system is sent ordinarily as a preset value to the counter boards of the operating and standby systems by a control computation element. CONSTITUTION:The respective counter boards 4 and 5 of operating and standby systems of a signal input element 2 receive a preset value as an initial value from a control computation element 1 at a rise time of the systems and start an integrating count of a pulse 6 to be counted, simultaneously. The computation element 1 reads an integrated value 7 of the board 4 and uses it for computation, while sending the integrated value 7 as a fresh preset value 8 to the boards 4 and 5. In an ordinary time, therefore, the integrated value 7 and the preset value 8 are equal in both of the boards 4 and 5, and this value is integrated every time when the pulse 6 is inputted. At the time when the operating system 4 is faulty, the integrated value 7 of the board 5 is in accord with the preset value 8 and the integrated values of the operating and standby systems are incremented in a state of accord.
