PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector that enables a downhole tool to effectively collect various data by high sensitivity or high selectivity during excavation of an oil field or a downhole environment.SOLUTION: A detector includes a transistor that has at least one CARBON NANOTUBE electric field effect transistor (CNTFET) 100 configured or designed to be operated by a downhole within a bore hole.
