PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draft chamber to which wall jet flow is guided.SOLUTION: An exhaust device 1 has a working chamber in a housing 60, where the working chamber is bounded by a front slide window 30, a bottom plate 34 and side walls 36, the exhaust device includes first hollow molded articles 10 and 10' arranged on a front face of each of the side walls 36, the first hollow molded articles each has first pressure chambers 10b and 10b', the chambers are fluidically coupled to first openings 10d and 10d', and wall jet flow of compression air is discharged into the working chamber along a side wall 36 from the openings. The first openings are fluidically coupled to the first pressure chamber, and a length L in a direction of flow of a first conduit is at least three times as large as a hydraulic diameter of a transverse surface of each first opening as vertically viewed from a flow direction so that the wall jet flow 100 flowing out from the first openings prevents air flow detachment from the side walls 36, in a region from the front face of the working chamber up to at least 25% of a depth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
