Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent oil from sticking to porous bodies for water in a device to separate oil from water by the difference in specific gravities thereof and to pass through the separate porous bodies by filling water-repellent liquid passing bodies in a space on the introducing port of first porous body while setting a second porous body between an oil sump chamber and a discharge port.
CONSTITUTION: A porous body is separated into first and second porous bodies 8, 18, and a discharge port is separated into a first discharge port 7 for discharging drain passing through the first porous body 8 and a second discharge port 23 for discharging drain passing through the second porous body 18. In a space K on the side of introducing port 5 of the first porous body 8 an oil sump chamber D is provided for receiving oil passing through a liquid passing body 18 having a plurality of minute liquid passing holes for passing oil in drain. In this chamber D the second body 18 is set and the oil passed through the second body 18 is discharged from the second discharge port 23. It is thus possible to prevent oil from sticking to the first porous body 8 and prevent the minute holes from being blocked.
