Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a running noise in a drain discharge pump.
SOLUTION: A drain discharge pump comprises a drain water flow straightening annulus 30 on an outside periphery of vanes 22 of an impeller 20 such that the annulus 30 projects from an outside rim of a drain guide surface apart from a shaft part 21 by a predetermined radial distance, and a drain water guide part 25 inside the drain water flow straightening annulus 30, wherein the drain water flow straightening annulus 30 and the drain water guide part 25 cooperate to suppress generation of air bubbles in the drain water. As a result, it is possible to reduce the noise and vibration.
