To constitute a drain pipe facility which, when a large amount of drainage flows in from drain appliances in a two-storied multiple dwelling house, discharges the drainage smoothly, and whose drain trap of each drain appliance is hard to be broken, without providing a particular air ventilation device such as a vent pipe or a vent valve.
A plurality of horizontal branch drain pipes 13a, 13b, 23a, 23b connected to the respective drain appliances such as a kitchen sink, a bath room, a washing stand, are arranged on the under-floor spaces UF1, UF2 of a first and a second floors, and are connected to horizontal branch receiving ports 33, 35 provided on the outer circumference of the barrel parts 39 of the first multi-opening pipe joint 11 and the second multi-opening pipe joint 21. The barrel part 39 is straight and larger in its diameter than a drain riser 15 interposed between a first multi-opening pipe joint 11 and a second multi-opening pipe joint 21, and larger in the diameter of a horizontal main pipe 17 than the drain riser 15.
