Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug device that prevents insufficient closing of a drain and water leakage from the drain, by engaging a valve body and a valve shaft of the drain plug device securely in an appropriate condition.SOLUTION: A drain plug device comprises a valve body 2 that opens and closes when an exhaust port of a tank B is moved up and down, and a valve shaft 3 engaged with and connected beneath the valve body 2 for supporting and moving up and down the valve body 2. The valve shaft 3 is provided with an engaging part 5 while the valve body 2 is provided with an engaged part 4 to be engaged with the engaging part 5 of the valve shaft 3, and a clearance space is formed along a side surface of the engaging part 5 and the engaged part 4 when the engaging part 5 and the engaged part 4 are engaged.
