Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a suction mechanism in a drain recovery device.SOLUTION: A drain recovery device comprises a vacuum generation unit 5 (a suction mechanism) that recovers drain generated in steam-using apparatuses 2B, through a recovery pipe 4. The vacuum generation unit 5 comprises a drain tank 5A, an ejector 5C connected to the recovery pipe 4, and first and second pumps 5D, 5F. The pumps 5D, 5F each comprise a casing that has a drain inflow port, a drain discharge port, and a steam introduction port 16, and in which a storage space for drain is formed, introduces steam into the storage space from the steam introduction port, and discharges drain in the storage space from the drain discharge port by using the pressure of the steam. In the vacuum generation unit 5, while drain in the drain tank 5A is circulated between the same and the ejector 5C by the first pump 5D to suck drain from the recovery pipe 4 into the ejector 5C, drain in the drain tank 5A is supplied to the utilization side by the second pump 5F.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
