Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lip section from falling to the inside at the corner section of a sunroof seal.
SOLUTION: A sunroof seal 15 for securing the water-tightness with an opening is fitted to the peripheral edge section of a moving panel 3 for opening/ closing the opening formed on the roof 1 of a vehicle, and the waterdrops infiltrating from between the moving panel 3 and the opening are dropped to a drain gutter 13 formed on the side section frame 4 of a sun roof by a lip section 15b integrally molded on the sunroof seal 15. A guide plate 17 kept in contact with the face of the lip section 15b on the center side of the opening is fixed to a reinforcing panel holder 16. The deformation of the lip section 15b toward the center side of the opening generated by the peripheral length difference between the corner section inside portion of the seal main body 15a of the sunroof seal 15 and the lip section 15b at the corner section of the moving panel 3 can be prevented.
