In a drain plug 20A of this drain structure, a cutout surface 25 extending in the shaft direction is arranged in a shaft part 21. When gradually loosening the drain plug 20A from the drain hole 10H, clearance is generated between an opening part 10S and a flange part 22 facing an external part of the drain hole 10H. Since clearance S communicating with an inside area of a casing 1 is generated between the drain hole 10H and the shaft part 21 of the drain plug 20A even in a state of threadedly engaging the drain plug 20A with the drain hole 10H, the clearance generated between the drain hole 10H and the drain plug 20A communicates with the clearance between the opening part 10S of the drain hole 10H and the flange part 22, and oil F is gradually discharged to the external part.
