Abstract:
To provide a drain trap applied at a compression pneumatic circuit and capable of detecting each of both states of opening failure and closing failure.SOLUTION: A drain trap 1 comprises: discharge detection means 30 installed at a secondary side of a valve main body 12b of the drain trap 1 to inform that either a pressure or flow rate exceeds a predetermined set value; a first timer 40 and a second timer 50 having a longer time counting than that of the first timer 40 each of which is a count-up timer; time delay means 41 for resetting the first timer 40 after either delaying or smoothing of a detected signal sent by the discharge detection means 30; denial means 51 for denying (NOT) a signal of the discharge detection means 30 and finally resetting either the first timer 40 or the second timer 50. The drain trap applies a constitution that when either the first timer 40 or the second timer 50 shows a predetermined time counting-up completion, an alarm output ALM is performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
