Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage pump for an air conditioner.SOLUTION: A drainage pump for an air conditioner in this invention comprises a drainage casing, an impeller and a motion mechanism. The motion mechanism has a motor housing upper part, a motor and a motor housing lower part. The motor housing lower part has a cylindrical body. The motor is positioned above the cylindrical body. The drainage casing is positioned below the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body has several slits, several flow guide plates and fluid passages. Several slits are distributed at the cylindrical body so as to extend from upper part to downward. Several flow guide plates are expanded obliquely from the cylindrical body along side edges of each of the slits and formed in such a way that they extend toward another side edge of each of the slits over each of the slits to keep a specified distance between it and the cylindrical body. The fluid passages are formed among the several flow guide plates and the cylindrical body. An inner space of the cylindrical body and its external part are communicated to each other by several slits and fluid passages.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
