To provide a draining method by a drainage pump vehicle with reduced weight and loading space of a plurality of drainage systems composed by using a plurality of drainage pumps and capable of corresponding to emergency drainage by shortening time necessary to prepare for an initiation of a drainage operation from arrival near an area to be drained.
Two lightweight submerged pumps 2 and 2, two short first drainage hoses 6A and 6A, one long second drainage hose 6B, and a collecting pipe 17 are loaded on a load-carrying platform 1A of the drainage pump vehicle 1 and carried near the area 15 to be drained. Two primary side drainage systems A and B are composed of the submerged pumps 2 and 2 and the drainage hoses 6A and 6A. A series of the drainage systems is composed by mutually communicating the primary side drainage systems A and B with one secondary side drainage system C composed of the second drainage hose 6B via the collecting pipe 17.
