Abstract:
To provide a water treatment system capable of separating water inexpensively; and to provide a working medium.SOLUTION: A water treatment system includes: an osmotic pressure generator 1 having a first treatment container 11 including a permeable membrane 12 for partitioning a first chamber 13 for storing treatment water A, and a second chamber 14 for storing a working medium B for inducing an osmotic pressure; and a concentrator 2 having carbon dioxide emission means for emitting carbon dioxide from the working medium B, phase separation means for separating the phase-separated working medium B, and carbon dioxide introduction means for allowing the working medium B to absorb carbon dioxide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
