A refrigerator is equipped with a door which is attached to a main body 5 in such a manner that the door can be freely drawn out forward of the main body 5, a lower container 13 which is attached to the door, and of which the upper surface is open, and an upper container 14 which is located on the top of the lower container 13 and is drawn out independently from the lower container 13. On a side wall 16 of the upper container 13, an upper flange 17 which is mounted on a guide rail 15 of the main body 5, and a lower flange 19 which is mounted on the upper end of the lower container 13, are provided. A vertical interval between the upper flange 17 and the lower flange 19 is made narrower than an interval between the guide rail 15 and the upper end of the lower container 13.
