The drawer type craft furnace 1 is constructed so that a movable tray 3 installed in a furnace body 2 can enter and leave the furnace body 2 through a freely openable and closable furnace opening 4. The furnace 1 has a guide rail 5 horizontally extending from the furnace opening 4 of the furnace body 2 to the inner part of the furnace body 2 and a multistage expansion body 7 which is placed along the guide rail 5 and comprises a plurality of supporters 6a, 6b connected so as to be freely slidable with each other. One supporter 6a of the multistage expansion body 7 is freely slidably connected to the guide rail 5, and the other supporter 6b supports the movable tray 3.
