To operate a latch pawl of a pull in the direction of releasing the latch whichever part of the pull an operator may grip by a reduced number of components and a simple structure.

The drawer 2 has the latch pawl 31 on a panel board 22, and the pull 23 is disposed almost on the whole area of the upper edge of the panel board 22. A control lever 32 is disposed inside the pull 23. The drawer 2 also has a latch pawl driving mechanism 34 for transmitting the operation force applied to the control lever 32 to the latch pawl 31 to operate the latch pawl 31 in the direction of releasing the latch. The size of the control lever 32 is approximately the whole width of the panel board 22, and a supporting shaft 33 for axially supporting the control lever 32 to the pull 23 is integrally disposed in the control lever 32. The drawer 2 also has an energization pawl 35 integrally disposed in the supporting shaft 33 for energizing the latch pawl driving mechanism 34.
