Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase usability, by providing manipulating levers at the rear of both sides of an end plate in a drawing type multi-stage cabinet and making it possible to release a latch by the manipulating lever from not only the front side of the end plate but also other directions.
CONSTITUTION: Manipulating levers 81, 82 provided with a motion converter are equipped so as to be movable back and forth at the rear of both sides of respective end plates 43 in a cabinet 1 provided with drawers 3, 4, 5 to make it possible to convert the turning motion toward the front of lever to the release motion of the latch. The motion converter 6 is made so that the right and left cams 61, 62 are connected to each other by a power transmission shaft 63 and the same motion converter 6 can be used even if the drawers 3, 4, 5 are different in the thickness. it is possible to release the latch and open or shut drawers from not only the front side of end plate 43 but also any other direction. In this way, the usability can be increased.
