Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch device in which there is no wastefulness of the movement of fingertips and drawing operation of a drawer can be smoothly done.SOLUTION: The front part of the drawer is formed hollow of a front plate and a rear plate and the first interlocking member 12 elongate in a right and left direction is turnably arranged in the hollow part. The finger hooking part 10a of an upper pull-tab 10 is arranged behind the upper part of the front plate 4. The first interlocking member 12 turns when turning the upper pull-tab 10 forward, and thereby a latch pawl can be separated from the body. The face to which the fingertips of a person is applied of the finger hooking part 10a of the upper pull-tab 10 is an inclined face inclined forward displacing forward the more as going downward the more. Therefore, when inserting the fingertips from the outside, the pull-tab 10 turns by the movement. Consequently the drawing operation can be smoothly done.
