To provide a drawing device for a tubular material, a rod material or the like as a means where a drawing axis can be easily controlled, and a drawn workpiece having high precision can be obtained.
In the drawing device 10, the tip of a work passing through drawing tools 20 and 30 is grasped with a chuck 40, and a puller 50 fitted with the chuck 40 is made to run on a rail 60, thus drawing is performed. The puller 50 is provided with a light emitter 70 in such a manner that, in the case the drawing tools 20 and 30 are properly fitted, light is applied to the position where the prescribed standard positions shall be located, and the fitting conditions of the drawing tools 20 and 30 are controlled so that the working standard positions are matched to the optical axis 71 of the light applied from the light emitter 70.
