Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a drawing method which enables drawing out of an org. coated metallic plate to a flangeless cup with excellent workability by eliminating the defects in the conventional drawing or drawing and redrawing methods and preventing the generation of pinching and film hair or enamel hair and the generation of the broken barrel at the time of drawing and the failure of the org. film layer and further the generation of wear and damage in the tools to be used.
CONSTITUTION: This method consists in holding the disk-shaped org. coated metallic plate with an annular holding member 1 and a drawing die 2, relatively moving a drawing punch 3 which is provided coaxially with the holding member and the drawing die 2 and is movable in and out in the holding member 1 and the drawing die 2 so as to mesh each other and drawing the drawn cup 10 from the disk-shaped metallic plate. At least either of the annular holding member 1 holding the residual flange 13 part and the drawing die 2 are moved to part from the pressing state just before the end of the forming in the above- mentioned drawing stage, by which the rear end of the flange part is released and the plate is drawn in.
