Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the filing and retrieving efficiency by obtaining automatically a retrieving key word.
CONSTITUTION: The drawing information is read out of a drawing recording medium 10 by a reading part 11 under the control of a controller 14 and then supplied to a character string extracting part 12. Then the character string data are extracted. An information retrieving part 13 retrieves a desired file based on the key information obtained from the extracted character string data and under the control of the controller 14. The retrieved file is shown on a display 15. In a high speed retrieving mode, the information can be retrieved via a retrieving index code converting part 16.
