PURPOSE: To generate a stable strength solidified soil from dredged mud at a reasonable cost.
CONSTITUTION: The amount of dredged mud in a pressure feed pipe is measured by an ultrasonic flow meter 14, and the water content of the mud is determined from the wet density sensed by a solatron densitometer 22. Calculations are made for the rate of solidifying material addition corresponding to the uniaxial compression strength as the target, the water content determined from a table to exhibit the relation of the rate of solidifying material addition, uniaxial compression strength, the predetermined water content. The amount of added solidifying material is determined from the product of the amount of the mud and the rate of solidifying material addition, and the solidifying material corresponding to this amount is added to the mud. Thereby a solidified soil of stable strength can be obtained at a reasonable cost.
