Abstract:
To provide a dressing surface evaluation apparatus, a dressing device, and a grinding device that can quantitatively evaluate the dressing surface state of a grinding wheel.SOLUTION: An evaluation value representing a dressing surface state calculated based on a first signal intensity SP1 of a first wavelength band B1 associated with the crushing of abrasive grains is a value indicating whether crushed grains are many or few, and the smaller the value, the more the progress of glazing is reflected. An evaluation value representing a dressing surface state calculated based on a second signal intensity SP2 of a second wavelength band B2 associated with frictional vibration or elastic vibration caused by contact between abrasive grains of a grinding wheel 14 and a rotary dresser 46 is a value indicating whether abrasive grains and the rotary dresser 46 are in contact with each other a lot or a little, and the smaller the value, the more the progress of shedding of the grinding wheel 14 is reflected. This enables that the progress of the glazing of the grinding wheel 14 or the progress of the shedding of the grinding wheel 14 can be quantitatively evaluated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
