Abstract:
To obtain a coating material capable forming a coating film having heat resistant protective properties.SOLUTION: A coating material uses a polyol composition as a main component and a polyisocyanate component as a curing agent, and a formed coating film forms a carbonized heat insulating layer by increasing the temperature. The polyol composition contains a polyol component and a powder component. The polyol component contains a polyether polyol having a molecular weight of 1,000 or more. The polyol composition has a viscosity of 10 to 80 Pa s and a heating residue of 70 to 98 wt.%. The mixing ratio of the polyol composition and the polyisocyanate component is 0.6 to 3.5 in terms of the NCO/OH equivalent ratio of the polyol component and the polyisocyanate component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
