PURPOSE: To obtain the titled food containing ingredient bonded firmly to the food to prevent the falling off of even a block-shaped ingredient, by scattering shavings of a paste product uniformly in a mold, placing the ingredients on the shavings scattering a small amount of shavings thereon, impregnating a binder in the obtained composite and pressing and drying the impregnated product.
CONSTITUTION: KAMABOKO (boiled fish-paste) is shaved with a shave for the production of the shavings of dried bonito. The obtained shavings 1 of the paste food are scattered almost uniformly in a rectangular frame 5, ingredients 3 are placed on the shavings, and a small amount of shavings 1 are scattered almost uniformly on the ingredients 3. The assembly 4 of the shavings containing ingredients is sprayed with a binder such as an aqueous solution of pullullan to obtain an impregnated product. The product is pressed with a press 6 and dried to obtain the objective food wherein the ingredients 3 are held near the surface of the fish meat sheet 2 consisting of the shavings of paste food bonded with an edible binder in the form of a sheet, and the ingredients are partly covered with the shavings 1 and partly exposed from the shaving layer.
