To satisfactorily overcome defects involved in conventional technique such as leakage of solvent vapor to the outside of a drier casing, the transverse slippage of a material web or oil condensation and cut short the entire length of a rotary press and further, protect an operator of the rotary press against the after-vaporization of a volatile solvent, and at the same time, direct a folding device positioned after a cooling roller stand irrespective of the other constituent elements of the rotary press.
The cooling and air-conditioning unit 2 has a single cooling roller 27 or a plurality of cooling rollers 27 for guiding a material web. In the unit 2, the after-vaporization of a solvent is promoted so that the solvent vapor adversely affecting an operator is prevented from being exhausted to the outside of a drier casing 9. In order to realize this operation, the cooling rollers 27 are disposed and fresh air 18 is guided passing through the cooling and air-conditioning unit 2.
