Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying device which dries cuisine garbage stored at each of restaurants and enables the cuisine garbage to be easily recycled as an organic compost, in a simple manner and without occupying a broad space. SOLUTION: This drying device comprises a body part 12 which can be placed on the opening of a can body 14 with the open top, blocking the opening, an electric motor 36 which is provided in the body part 12, with an output shaft 38 protruding from the lower face of the body part 12 a microwave generating means 40 which is housed in the body part 12 and irradiates the cuisine garbage with a microwave 40a from an irradiation aperture 42a opened in the lower face of the body part 12 and a stirring means 58 which has an output shaft 38 connected, in a freely attachable/detachable manner, to the upper end, a shaft body 60 structured, in a rotatable way, integrally with the output shaft 38 and a blade 62 extending to the sides from the shaft body 60 and is inserted into the can body 14 as a discretely formed entity from the body part 12.
