To provide a drill head for a rock drill, capable of providing a high drilling rate even for a reinforcement by optimizing the break down.
This cemented carbide drill head for the rock drill includes at least one main edge 11 extending along a drilling hole axis A and at least one auxiliary edge 12. The main edge 11 extends from a first radial inner end 16 to a first radial outer end 17 positioned on a first diameter D1. The auxiliary edge 12 extends from a second radial inner end 18 to a second radial outer end 19 positioned on a second diameter D2 which is smaller than the first diameter D1. The entire part of the enveloping surface H1 of the auxiliary edge 12 projects in the axial direction further than the enveloping surface H2 of the main edge 11.
