To provide a drill knife edge polishing machine which is simple and easy to switch and use both normal and straight line polishing, simple and easy to attach to a hand held grinder, easy to use, and available at a low price.

The drill knife edge polishing machine comprises a base 1 having a base support part 2, a polishing machine fixture 3 mounting the base support part 2 to a grinder so that the base 1 is parallel to a rotary shaft of a grinding wheel of the grinder, a main body stage 4 sliding on the base 1 in a direction parallel to the rotary shaft of the grinding wheel of the grinder, a drill mount table 6 for during normal polishing and a drill mount table 7 for during straight line polishing positioning a drill provided on the main body stage 4, and a fine adjustment means 8 for drill mount table during straight line polishing. In such a case, the drill mount table 6 for during normal polishing is rotatable in respect to an axle perpendicular to a main body stage surface, and the fine adjustment means 8 for drill mount table during straight line polishing is mounted to the base 1 and is linked to the drill mount table 7 for during straight line polishing by air chucks 72 and 83 only when necessary.
