Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten construction period and secure the safety of the work by automatically fit or remove a drill shaft with a machine.
CONSTITUTION: Drill shafts 12 are automatically fitted or removed in sequence at the rear section of a drill to install pipes in the ground. This drill shaft automatic fitting/removing mechanism 11 is provided with the first drive motor 14 rotating the drill shaft 12 while the tip of a motor shaft 13 is connected to the rear end section 12a of the drill shaft 12. The first drive motor 14 is longitudinally moved on the center line C of the motor shaft 13 by the second drive motor 15. The motor shaft 13 of the first drive motor 14 is provided with a clutch member 16 reciprocatable in the axial direction. The clutch member 16 is coupled with or released from the rear end section 12a of the drill shaft 12 and transmits the rotating force in the reverse direction of the first drive motor 14 to the drill shaft 12 in the coupled state. A fixing arm 17 fixing the rear end section 12a of the drill shaft 12 on the center line C of the motor shaft 13 is provided near the rear section of the drill shaft 12 connected to the motor shaft 13.
