To provide a drill unit for a blade type feeder to prevent lowering of materials handling efficiency, reduce a materials handling cost, and prevent breakage by preventing application of an excessive load.
This drill unit 46 is mounted on the lower part of a feeder body 21. The drill unit 46 is constituted such that square pipes 50 provided with a plurality of claws 54A-54E are radially situated. Each of the claws 54A-54E is mounted in a stage to decline downward and a declining angle is steppedly increased from the tip side of the square pipe 50 toward the central side. Its installation interval is steppedly decreased from the tip side of the square pipe 50 toward the central side. Further, its width is steppedly decreased from the tip side of the square pipe 50 toward the central side. This constitution prevents lowering of material handling efficiency, reduces a material handling cost, and further prevents breakage of a blade type feeder.
