To provide a drill which prevents burrs from being produced at the opening end of a drilled hole when a laminated material of CFRP and an aluminum alloy is drilled, and performs good drilling by promoting the discharge of chips from the bottom of the drilled hole.
In this drill, a chip discharge groove 13 is formed in the tip side outer periphery of a drill body 10, and an edge member 18 having a cutting blade 22 is fixed to a recessed groove 15 opening toward the tip side of the drill body 10. In the cutting edge member 18, a cemented carbide layer is disposed on both sides of a diamond layer, the cutting blade 22 is formed on the diamond layer, and the tip angle of the cutting blade 22 is set within the range of 135145. The chip discharge groove 13 is twisted at a helix angle to the rear side in the drill rotating direction toward the rear end. The helix angle is set within the range of 2535. A fluid supply hole 30 opening toward the tip side is drilled in the drill body 10.
