Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable beverage infusing system.SOLUTION: A beverage cartridge system 100 is adapted to infuse beverages through an infuser having a holder 116 adapted to receive a cartridge system. The holder has a deep well with one or more needles inside to penetrate the bottom of the cartridge system when the holder is inserted into the well, the cartridge system includes a filter 104 in the outer cup, and the bottom of the filter is deep enough to be juxtaposed onto the bottom of the cup. The filter can be formed from a material which lifts the filter at a contact point when an outlet needle 130 penetrates the bottom of the cup and substantially has resistance to the puncturing of the needles in the holder so as to substantially resist the outlet needle to penetrate the filter during an infusion process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
