Title:
DRINK DISPENSER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3649555
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drink dispenser which positively prevents an overflowing water from spilling to the outside of the dispenser and is less costly in terms of installation/operation and also can be handled easily.
SOLUTION: Overflow piping 20 running from a hot water supply tank 5 is connected to a water storage tank 2. In the hot water supply tank 5, a water level is kept almost constant by detecting the water level using a float switch 18 and controlling the drive and the stoppage of a pump 6 based on the detection results. In the case that the float switch 18 malfunctions to allow the continued drive of the pump 6, the overflow of the hot water supply tank 5 occurs. In this case, however, the overflowing water is totally circulated back to the water storage tank 2, so that the spillage of the overflowing water to the outside of the dispenser is positively eliminated. In addition, it is no longer necessary to provide a drain tank separately, so that an installation space is saved by this drain tank, contributing to the miniaturization of the dispenser and the reduction of a manufacturing cost. The incidental operation to drain the drain tank also need not be considered to lessen a financial burden on the part of a user.
