To provide a constitution for a drink liquid filling can which reduces the dispersion of a bending moment in an area spreading in the short side direction of a small piece along the width between a pivot portion and a projecting piece to concentrate the bending moment further on the inside of an opening cut line and the vicinity thereof.

The drink liquid filling can 1 includes the small piece 6 which has a finger hooking hole 5 and the projecting piece and is pivoted on the pivot portion 7, and an opening mechanism made along the opening cut line 8, in which the opening mechanism is formed in an area opposite to the finger hooking hole 5 with respect to the pivot portion 7 as the projecting piece, and is broken as a finger inserted in the finger hooking hole 5 is moved up and the projecting piece is depressed to form an opening 4. The small piece 6 and the opening mechanism are formed on the upper face 3 of the can 1. Projecting or recessed reinforcing ribs 10 are formed in an areas that are at both sides of the small piece 6 and the opening cut line 8 on the upper face 3 and extend across the width at least between the pivot portion 7 and the front end of the projecting piece 5.
