Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow preferred drink without drinking directly from a bottle by including a compression spring fitted over a straw member between a suction port and a bottom wall of a housing and by urging a suction port member to protrude from an upper opening of the housing via the compression spring.
SOLUTION: A drink assist device 11 includes a straw member 28 and a suction port member 29, wherein the suction port member 29 forms a cylindrical skirt 3 with a large diameter extending downwardly from a cylindrical suction port 30 with a small diameter exhibited on an upper opening 15 while it is stored in a housing 16, it inserts an upper end of the straw member 28 into the suction port 30 through the skirt 31, and it opens an open end of the straw member 28 at a tip of the suction port 30. A compression spring 32 comprising a coil spring is fitted over the straw member 28 while being positioned between the suction port 30 and a bottom wall 17 of the housing 16, and the compression spring 32 urges the suction port member 28 to protrude from the upper opening 15 of the housing 16.
