To provide a drinking water supply system which can provide drinking water with high water quality by suppressing contamination of microorganisms, rust or the like.
The drinking water supply system includes a water clarification means Sa for clarifying water, a circulation line Sb for circulating water clarified at a downstream side of the water clarification means Sa to a supplying pipe Sc, water quality detecting means s2, s5 for detecting water quality of water flowing in the circulation line Sb and a monitoring means for keeping water quality constant. Preferably, in the circulation line Sb, water circulates between clarified water tanks 8a, 8b for storing water and the supplying pipe Sc. Preferably, the water quality detecting means are electric conductivity sensors s2, s5.
