Abstract:
To enable the drip amount of liquid to be measured.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: an edge sensor 1 for detecting an edge position of an object existing in a detection area; a drip determination unit 2 for determining, from a continuous change of the edge position, and on the basis of the edge position of the object detected by the edge sensor 1, whether or not the object is one piece of dripped liquid; a spherical diameter estimation unit 3 for estimating the spherical diameter of the object on the basis of the edge position of the object detected by the edge sensor 1 when it is determined by the drip determination unit 2 that the object is one piece of dripped liquid; and a drip amount calculation unit 4 for calculating a drip amount on the basis of the spherical diameter estimated by the spherical diameter estimation unit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
