To prevent a drip from a simplified syphon pump via a simple operation, and further prevent the contamination of a surrounding area due to a liquid drop by freely controlling the open/close operation of a sealing valve fitted near the lower end of the discharge pipe of the simplified syphon pump.
At the time of using a simplified syphon pump for transferring a liquid, a handle part 1 is repeatedly gripped and released. As a result, the liquid drawn from a suction pipe 2 is delivered from a discharge pipe 3, due to the action of a check valve laid on the upper end of the suction pipe 2 and another check valve laid on the upper part of the discharge pipe 3. When an operation to grip and release the handle part 1 is stopped, the liquid continuously flows to the discharge pipe 3 on the principle of the syphon. For stopping the delivery of the liquid, an outer cylinder 11 is lifted along the discharge pipe 3. As a result, a sealing body 10 comes in contact with the end 5 of the discharge pipe 3, thereby interrupting only the delivery of the fluid, with the liquid kept left in the discharge pipe 3 and the handle part 1. Also. the expanded diameter part 12 of the outer cylinder 11 is engaged with the annular projection 6 of the discharge pipe 3, thereby preventing the outer cylinder 11 from being detached from the discharge pipe 3.
