To provide a driving device that enables a desired workpiece conveying device to be constructed with a relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a driving device including a housing, a drive motor mounted on the housing, a drive transmission mechanism mounted on the housing, and a rotating body rotated via the drive transmission mechanism by rotation of the drive motor mounted on the housing. The compact driving device with a simple configuration can be obtained, and a required driving force can be provided at a desired place and with a simple configuration by using such driving device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
