Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving truck whose structure is simple and cost is reduced.SOLUTION: A driving truck 13 runs along a ceiling rail 7. The driving truck 13 comprises a wheel axis shaft 51, a pair of running wheels 53, a bracket 55, side guide rollers 59, branch switch rollers 63 and rails for branch switch rollers 67. The wheel axis shaft 51 extends in lateral direction which is perpendicular to running direction of the truck. The pair of running wheels 53 are rotatably fitted to both ends of the wheel axis shaft 51. The bracket 55 is located between the pair of running wheels 53 and supports the wheel axis shaft 51. Side guide rollers 59 rotate around vertical shafts which are supported by the bracket 55. The rails for branch switch rollers 67 are fitted to the bracket 55 and guide laterally the branch switch rollers 63. Lateral distance between two centers of the branch switch rollers is rather shorter than that of the side guide rollers. When a truck approaches a branch, the branch switch rollers are controlled to be guided by the rails 67 for one of the rollers to touch the branch side wall, then the truck turns toward the branch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
