Title:
DRIVE CIRCUIT FOR INFRARED-RAY EMITTING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10126238
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide the drive circuit which is suitable for an infrared-ray emitting element that generates infrared ray, used for a transmission means of a digital signal.
The circuit is made up of a MOS field effect transistor 6 that is conductive, when a pulse signal is received by its gate and provides a drive current to an infrared-ray emitting diode 5, when the transistor 6 is conductive and up of a MOS field effect transistor 9 that is inserted in a current supply path to the infrared-ray emitting diode 5 and changes from a low impedance into a high impedance when a pulse signal is received at its gate.
