Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a magnetron driver circuit for microwave oven, in which unwanted radiation is suppressed when the microwave oven is in operation.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetron driver circuit for a microwave oven has a power supply transformer 1 including a transformer element 1a for heater and a high voltage transformer element 1b, and thereby a heater of a magnetron 4 is operated and a high voltage is impressed between the anode and cathode of the magnetron. In this magnetron driver circuit, the power supply transformer is equipped with a relay 5 capable of selecting as the secondary side output of the transformer element for heater at least either of the rated voltage of the heater and a value 46-76% of the rated voltage.
